My greatest pleasure this weekend was hearing my grandson, Max, ask, 'Bampi? Can I pick some was-be-wees?', after which he spent twenty minutes filling his face with as many of of them as he could grab before his mam and dad bundled him into their camper van and headed off to Symonds Yat for the weekend.

Weekend highlight
At the back of our house on a plot no bigger than most families' living room table we have a dozen raspberry canes.

As I'm on my own this week I can eat what I like
My other half is allergic to cheese, so in her absence I decided to get creative with some homemade pizza.

Tesco's, Talbot Green yesterday...
to see the amazing Hazel Thomas weave her culinary magic for St David's Day.
The supermarket were hosting an event to support local suppliers and Hazel was cooking a few of her own recipes, including her signature dish, quiche with Welsh cheese, cockles and laver bread.
I can confirm, after several pieces, that it tastes as good as it sounds.
:)
A video of the recipe is on its way sometime next week.
